Quality Assurance Programs
Control, Compliance, and Certification
- Hifn quality management system is ISO9001-compliant. In addition, all of our manufacturing partners are ISO9001 certified.
- Hifn’s Quality Assurance Program assures Quality in all phases of the manufacturing processes used by our manufacturing partners and contractors. Hifn’s Quality Assurance Program provides mechanisms for prevention and for quick detection of discrepancies. We insist on timely and positive corrective actions.
Design for Manufacturing and Reliabilty
Reliability considerations are included from the initial design phases of a Hifn product. This attention to detail extends to the close relationships with Hifn’s fabrication and assembly facilities. Working with our manufacturing partners, Hifn strives continuously to control and improve the processes, systems, and methods used to ensure that the production process prevents defects.
Product Qualification
All Hifn products go through a rigorous qualification process before they can be unconditionally released to production.
Reliability Assurance
Through its manufacturing partners, Hifn collects reliability monitor data to demonstrate ongoing reliability of products.

Environmental Quality
Environmentally Responsible
Hifn is deeply committed to making products that are more environmentally responsible.
Current efforts include complying with the EU RoHS directive, as well as, other global environmental initiatives that target the removal of hazardous materials from products and the environment. All of Hifn’s manufacturing partners are ISO 14001 certified. Additionally, Hifn is working with its manufacturing partners around the world in preparation for future industry guidelines for other hazardous materials.
RoHS Compliance
Hifn is providing RoHS-compliant alternatives for most of its products. Hifn’s RoHS-compliant parts have unique product numbers to ensure our customers can clearly distinguish them. All of Hifn’s RoHS-compliant product offerings have been through reliability qualification to ensure that they can meet the requirements of lead-free processing.
